Policy of Plagiarism

Author submitting article to Accounthink : Journal of Accounting and Finance should create statement letter that the manuscript is free from plagiarism and not being considered and published in other journals.

Policy of Reproduction

Article that has been published on Accounthink : Journal of Accounting and Finance becomes the copyright of the Department of Accounting FEB UNSIKA. For educational purpose, the contents of JAKI could be copied or reproduced as long as mentioning source of the article. Written request should be submitted to editor to gain permission to reproduce the contents of Accounthink : Journal of Accounting and Finance for other purposes aside from education.

Policy of Data Availability

Consistent with the purpose of Accounthink : Journal of Accounting and Finance, article’s author is expected to give data owned to the ones need them and give information about the way of obtaining such data. If the article uses survey or experiment approach, then all instruments (questionnaires, case, interview plan, etc.) should be attached.

Submission of Article

Article is submitted in softcopy (without author’s identity) accompanied with author’s profile and research instrument (questionnaires, interview transcript, etc.). Article is sent through Accounthink : Journal of Accounting and Finance website: https://journal.unsika.ac.id/accounthink by selecting Submit Paper menu and will be processed through Open Journal System (OJS) application. OJS guidelines for authors are available on OJS Guidelines menu.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, or is under consideration by another journal (or an explanation has not been provided in comments to the editor).
  • Script files in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word document file formats.
  • When available, URLs for reference are provided.
  • 1 spaced text; letter 12; crooked; not underlined (except URL address); and all illustrations, figures, and tables placed in the text at appropriate points, not at the end. Text that complies with the library and style requirements outlined in the Author's Manual, which will be found on the About Us page. For the template, click here.
  • If acceptance for the peer-reviewed portion of the journal, the instructions contained in Anonymous Reviewers have been followed.

The author(s) hold the copyright of the published article without restriction. This policy means that the journal allows the author(s) to hold and retain publishing rights without restrictions

The published articles are open submission, indexed and peer-reviewed

» Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge

» Plagiarism Check

The editor will run a plagiarism check using Turnitin for the submitted articles before sending to the reviewers. We do not process any plagiarised contents. If an article has over 25% of plagiarism based on the result of the check, we will send back the article to the author to be revised for the plagiarised contents

» Peer Review Process

Every submitted article is independently reviewed with Double Blind Review. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decision based on the reviewers’ recommendation:

Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.
Revisions Required: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.
Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. It will require a second round of review, however.
Decline Submission: The submission will not be published in the journal.

» Article Revision

The articles sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. The revised article returned later than 20 days will be considered as new submissions. The revised article can be sent to editorial through the Online Submission Interface

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
